Marisa Anders | Claiborne Progress

The turnout for this year’s chili supper to benefit Claiborne County’s Adult Education program was so big they ran out of chili. Carla Reece of Carla’s Cafe had to begin giving tickets for a free lunch at her shop in lieu of the chili around midpoint of the dinner. In addition to the food, guests enjoyed live entertainment during the event and a silent auction was held throughout the evening. Pictured are some of the performers, from Left to right, Garry Tucker, Mallory Tucker and Mark Tucker.
