Irene Barton
Irene Pace Barton, age 83, went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2013. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Warren W. Barton; parents, Jasper and Janie Pace; brothers, Therman and Joe Pace; sisters, Mamie Pace Noojin, and Opal Johnson.
She is survived by children: Curtis Gene Barton; Debora Barton Ward and son-in-law, Kenny Ward. Grandchildren: Theresa Renee Jonansen, Warren Randall Barton and Chelsea Ward Bryant. Great Grandchildren: Rebbeca Hayley Freeman, Seth Daniel Lewis and Miranda Barton, Kayha Nevaeh Bryant. Great great Grandchild: Carter Young. And a host of special nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her faithful and loving dog Andy.

Roy Greenlee
Roy Lee Greenlee, 89 years, 11 months, and 29 days old of Morristown passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Claiborne County Nursing Home. He was born February, 26, 1923, and saved in 1961 and was of the Baptist faith; a veteran of World War II having fought in Central Europe, Rhineland, Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes and holds four battle stars. He worked at Berkline for 26 years and enjoyed playing Rook and gardening; preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Burbean Ray Greenlee; parents, Mary Brown and Albert Greenlee; brother, Donnie Bee Greenlee; sister, O’Dell McGowan; nephew, Jerry Lee McGowan; brothers-in-law, Lee Barns and LeDrew McGowan.
Survivors include sister, Clovia Barns of Maynardville; brother and sister-in-law, Swan and Jean Greenlee of Mohawk; sister-in-law, Anna B. Greenlee of Maynardville; nephews, Billy Barns and Billy Greenlee of Maynardville, Larry Greenlee of Mohawk, Danny Greenlee of Mosheim; nieces, Luealma Kitts of Corryton, Darlene Lamb of Afton, and Patricia Muncey of Maynardville; several great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was Wednesday, February 27, 2013, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Mayes Family Services, Downtown Chapel. Funeral services were 1 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013, at the funeral home with Rev. Swan Bush and Rev. Jim Campbell officiating and interment to follow at Hamblen Memory Gardens with VFW Post 5266 conducting full military graveside services. Pallbearers were his nephews and honorary pallbearers were Bill Waddell, Steve Anderson, Charlie Smith, Harold Muncey, Grant Wolf, and Paul Phelps.

Orville Hensley
Mr. Orville Lee Hensley, age 71 of Tazewell, Tenn., was born October 26, 1941, and passed away on February 13, 2013, at his home due to long-term illness. He retired from England Corsair as a Mechanical Engineer. He loved to fish for crappie and his “Mopar” cars. He also loved to hunt for arrow heads and other artifacts; part of his collection is on display at Smoky Mountain Knife Works. Orville also loved to deer hunt, but most of all he was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, John and Mary “Eads” Hensley; sister, Geraldine Rowland and grandson, Aaron Chase Hensley,
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years: Evylene Hensley. Children: Orville Scott and wife Frances; Mary Lisa and husband John Whitaker all of Tazewell, Tenn. Grandchildren: Nick and Chris Chittum, Alex Hensley and Samantha Lester. Brothers: Bobby Joe Hensley and wife Sharon of New Tazewell, Tenn.; Roger Hensley and wife Linda of Tazewell, Tenn.; Greg Baker of Virginia. Sisters: Hazel Aline Woods of Monroe, Mich.; Mary Lynn Long of Rose Hill, Va.; Kathy Daniels of Monroe, Mich.; Loma Brooks and David of Ewing, Va.; Marcy Williams of Harrogate, Tenn. Donald Jordan
Donald Jordan, age 70, of New Tazewell, Tenn., was born in Lone Mountain, Tenn., on Oct. 6, 1942, and passed away Feb. 24, 2013, at the Claiborne County Hospital. He was a member of Lone Mountain Baptist Church. He was formerly employed with the Claiborne County Utility District.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cuba and Mabel Jordan; brothers, Tine, Ed, R.B., Frank and William Iris.
He is survived by his sister: Jean Rodenborn of Tazewell, Tenn. Brothers: Billy Jordan and wife, Cheri of Butler, Tenn.; Horace Jordan of Tazewell, Tenn. And a host of other nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Christopher Love
Christopher Stacy Love, age 50 of New Tazewell, Tenn., was born November 17, 1962, to Joe and Imogene Love. Chris was a joy to all of his family. He was saved when he was 10 years old, he was baptized the following May and joined Lone Holly Missionary Baptist Church, where he remained a member. Chris loved classic cars and motorcycles but most of all he loved his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Love; grandparents, Samuel and Kathy Hughes Love; Otis and Mae Bullard Walker and favorite Uncle Wayne Walker.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years: Tracy Love. Daughter and the joy of his life: Rayven Ciara Love. Mother: Imogene Love. Sister: Charlene and Mike Smith. Brother: Steve and Sherri Love. Mother-in-law: Edith and Starlin Stalans. Father-in-law: Harold and Shirley Sutton. Brother-in-law: Barry and Angie Sutton. Special Granparents: Barney and Mary Harlan. Ross Mills Jr.
Mr. Ross Mills Jr., age 76 of Tazewell, Tenn., was born March 19, 1936, and passed away February 26, 2013, at the Claiborne County Hospital. He was a member of Buckeystown Methodist Church in Buckeystown, MD. Ross spent most of his life in his hometown of Frederick, MD, where he graduated from Fredrick High School Class of 1954 then attended Hagerstown Business School in 1955 and graduated with an associate’s degree in accounting. He retired from the profession of an accountant. Ross was an avid drag racer, won 62 trophies and was pictured in the famous Hotrod Magazine in 1958.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Ross Mills Sr. and Hazel (Smith) Mills. Sons: Ross Mills III and Steven Wayne Mills.
He is survived by his wife: Mossie Sulfridge Mills of Tazewell, Tenn. Sons: Ross Michael Mills and wife Amanda of Converse, TX; Richard Derick Mills of Federick, MD. Daughters: Diana Collins and husband Bert of Knoxville, MD; Christina Mullenix and husband John of Chambersburg, PA. Step-children: Rev. Jay Sulfridge and wife Kathy of Middlesboro, Ky.; Dr. Sylvia Lynch of Tazewell, Tenn.; Fay Thomas and husband Dr. Robert Thomas of Speedwell, Tenn.
