Carol Brandon with the UT/TSU Claiborne County Extension Service and Tammy Hamby with the Claiborne County Health Department will offer a six-week program to help you “Take Charge of Your Diabetes”.
The two-hour class will be held March 13, March 20, March 27, April 3, April 10 and April 17 at the Harrogate Senior Center beginning at 1 p.m.
This is a free class, but participants are asked to commit to attend all of the sessions if possible.
Registration is required so materials can be prepared for each participant.
This is a fun, skill-building program designed for persons with diabetes or family members of someone with diabetes.
Participants learn skills that help them take day-to-day responsibility for their diabetes care. Participants will gain skills necessary to self-manage their diabetes and work effectively with their healthcare professionals.
