Claiborne County Mayor Jack Daniels, the Industrial Development Board and County Commission have worked diligently to implement their new Jobs Program in Claiborne County. This program is for existing industry and also new industry to create jobs.
With this program, the creation of a minimum of 50 new jobs is required. England Furniture is the first company to participate in this program. England now has a new more competitive line of motion furniture called the EZMotion Series which is producing up to 10 truckloads per week and is distributed across the United States. As they progress, England will be able to produce more of this new line of furniture, and the number of shipments moving out to retailers will increase as well.
“This is an exciting time for Claiborne County with the Jobs Program and will be very beneficial to local industry as well as for the people seeking employment during this tough economy,” said Daniels. “I will continue to keep working as hard as I promised in my efforts to bring more jobs to the county.”
