The Lincoln Memorial University Lady Railsplitter softball team earned a third-straight South Atlantic Conference doubleheader split after taking a 4-2 victory in game one and falling 6-4 in extra innings in game two to the Brevard Tornadoes on Saturday at Dorothy Neely Field.

LMU (20-11, 3-3 SAC) remained locked in sixth in the league standings with the win and loss, while Brevard College (10-17, 1-5 SAC) picked up its first win in the SAC this season in game two.

The Lady Railsplitters will be back in action on March 20 in the first two of four-consecutive games away from Dorothy Neely Field.

On that day, LMU travels to Greeneville, Tenn., for a two-game South Atlantic Conference against Tusculum College, beginning at 2 p.m.

LMU travels to Salisbury, N.C., over the weekend to challenge Catawba.
