Appalachian Aglow

Appalachian Aglow is currently meeting bi-monthly at the home of Lisa Leonard in New Tazewell. The current Bible study focus is on health and healing for one’s spirit, soul and body. Awakening Tent Revival

The Awakening Tent Revival will be held at Rose Hill Elementary School in Rose Hill, Va., April 4-6 nightly at 7 p.m. The schedule is: April 4 - Evangelist Ronnie Owens, a missionary at heart and founder of Camp Jubilee, will be preaching; True Gospel of Cumberland Gap will be doing the music; Rose Hill First Priority will be singing in the service. April 5 - Evangelist Justin Helton, president of Skywatch Ministries, will be preaching; the Freedom Christian Fellowship Praise Team from London, Ky., will be leading the worship; Elydale First Priority will be singing and doing a skit during the service. April 6 - Pastor Norman Clark, pastor of the Ewing Circuit UMC, will be preaching; the Kevin Wilson Band from Corbin, Ky., will be doing the music for the service; Thomas Walker High School First Priority will be doing a skit during the service.

Benefit Singing

There will be a benefit singing for Ralph and Peggy Fultz at Indian Creek Baptist Church on April 6 at 7 p.m. The benefit is for their medical expenses. Grief Share

Those who are mourning the death of a family member or friend are invited to attend the GriefShare video seminar at the New Beginning Baptist Church, located four miles west of Harrogate on Hwy. 63. This nondenominational Christ-centered program features biblical teaching by nationally respected grief experts and others journeying through grief. As well as providing the opportunity to be around others who understand, GriefShare also offers valuable insights about building a new normal in life and renewing hope for the future.
