Officers with Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office bust a car dealer who was dealing more than just cars from his lot on Thursday afternoon.

Alfred L. Tennyson, 31, owner of Tennyson’s Auto Sales in Dogwood Heights was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Schedule IV for Resale, Possession of a Firearm During a Felony and Possession of Schedule II for Resale.

Sheriff David Ray said this had been a long investigation with the help of the Eighth Judicial Drug Task Force.

Thursday afternoon, officers raided the car lot that sits at 3275 Highway 25-E searching through cars, boats and RV’s that sit on the lot. Officers searched trailers that also sit on the lot.

Tennyson was found to be in possession of schedule II and schedule IV narcotics as well as a firearm. He was taken to the Claiborne County Jail where he was later released on a bond.

Now, Judge and DA make sure we just smack Alfie on the hand and give him probation. That IS the NORM that you do for ALL drug dealers.
