Maloney, Crockett unite in marriage

Elizabeth (Beth) Maloney Crockett and Javan Crockett

Mr. & Mrs. Jack Maloney of Morristown announce the wedding of their daughter, Elizabeth, (Beth) Maloney, to Javan Crockett. He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Mike Crockett, and Ms. Cindy Crockett of Harrogate.

The ceremony took place at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Morristown on Saturday, June 13, 2015. The Rev. Monsignor Patrick Garrity officiated. The reception was at the Country Club in Morristown. The couple honeymooned in Maroma Beach Resort, Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

Beth is granddaughter of Mr & Mrs Richard Giddish of Morristown and Mrs Erma and Jack (late) Maloney of Godfrey, Illinois.

Javan is the grandson of Mrs Lucy Bailey of Ewing, Virginia, Mr and Mrs Delbert Brooks (late) and Mr Venus (late) and Mrs. Christine Crockett of Harrogate.

The altar was decorated with candles and iron floral stands filled with larkspurs, white hydrangeas, snapdragons, coral cabbage rose, coral and white roses and coral berries. Floral nose gays marked the pews for the family.

The music was provided by Michael Maloney, cousin of the bride was the soloist. Featured selections included, “He Has Chosen You For Me,” “Canon in D,” “The Bridal Chorus,” and “Lucky”. The lighting of the Unity Candle was accompanied by “Ave Maria.”

The bride wore a Maggie Sottero Francesca stealth featuring bold floral embroidered overlay, accented with sparkling Swarovki crystals. It was finished with illusion lace back adorned with crystal button closure and separate ivory satin slip dress. Her simple, elegant veil was accented with pearls and crystals. Beth carried a bouquet featuring white hydrangeas, coral peonies, white mini calla lilies, coral and off white roses and coral berries. It was wrapped in a costal blue colored braid.

The matron of honor was Erin Holbrook, sister of the bride of Athens. The bridesmaids were Noelle Belling of Culver City, Calif., Amber Garland of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jamie Turner of Knoxville, Hannah Shields of Bluff City, Brittany Moore, Jamie Fultz and Katherine Flynn of Morristown, Emily Donnelly, cousin of the bride from Denver, Colorado, Tracy Longhurst, cousin of the groom from Tazewell. The bridesmaids wore costal blue cocktail length jewel neck peau de soie dress with matching flower detail on the full skirt.

The flower girls were Hannah Rains and Lily Bose, cousins of the bride. The ring bearer was Peyton, the bride and groom’s dog.

The best men were Clint Crockett, brother of the groom of Harrogate, and David Turner of Knoxville. The groomsmen were Mike Crockett, father of the groom of Harrogate, David Maloney, brother of the bride of Morristown, Drew Holbrook, brother in law of the bride, of Athens, Andrew Fultz of Morristown, Trey Nelson of Bluff City, Mark Horn of Bristol, Ryan Love of Asheville, Dusty Bailey, cousin of the groom from Harrogate.

The bride’s mother wore a cocktail length coral dress with a straight neckline, bracelet length sleeves and sheath skirt, covered with a layer of intricate lace. The groom’s mother wore a champagne colored knee length sleeveless dress with a blue overlay.

Special liturgical reading were recited by Emily Culvern, friend of the bride, Janet Donnellu, aunt of the bride and Kristy Worley, cousin of the groom. The guest attendants were Chelsie Nelson, Rachel Overbay and Kristy Worley.
