I recently spoke to the Jr's and Sr's at Claiborne County High School about the dangers of texting and driving. With the increase in accidents and deaths caused by distracted driving (texting and driving), I felt the need to speak with some of our most important community members. The students were great, they were very attentive and asked great questions. Many of them have been affected or knew someone that has been affected by distracted driving, so the message really hit home. I would like to thank Susan Essary for giving me the opportunity to speak to the students. I would also like to thank the support staff at Claiborne Co. for helping me get set-up to present. Last, but not least, I would like to thank the students at Claiborne Co. who took their valuable class time to listen to this important message.
