Four generations of the Reece family has been serving Tri-state area families in times of grief for over half a century at Reece Funeral Home. Established in the 1940’s by Alvin D. Reece Sr., the Reece family was the first to build a new modern funeral home in Claiborne County; and the current facility – Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel – was the first funeral home in the Harrogate/Speedwell area. Both the late Alvin D. Reece and Bobbie Reece have been recognized by The Tennessee Funeral Directors Association for over 50 years of service. After growing up in the family business A. Davis Reece II started working full time in the business in 1967. A.D. Reece III (Davy) worked in the counseling field for some years and became a licensed funeral director in 1997. Rebecca Rose Reece is also a very active member of the family business and has been very instrumental in it’s success. Alvin D. Reece IV is wonderful with public relations.

The staff at Reece Funeral Home and Valley Chapel provide compassionate service during a families most distressful time. The Reece family and staff are available twenty four hours a day seven days a week.
