Bobby Bean a true racer at heart and multi-race winner at the Tazewell Speedway lost his battle with cancer and passed away last week. Bean had a loving family and many, many friends. He also had a wish that some of his fellow drivers would bring their racecars to the Cave Springs Church to escort him up to the cemetery. The Tazewell Speedway racing family rallied around this final request and showed up in great numbers to pay their final respects to one of their own. In a fitting tribute his procession drove through the line of racecars and fulfilled that simple but so powerful wish. The Taz family will always remember Bobby Bean and thoughts and prayers go out to each and every family member. Godspeed Bobby Bean, you will be missed.
