After being taken into custody on October 8, William Hence Smith was indicted by the State of Tennessee on five counts of rape of a child, manufacturing marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm during commission of a dangerous felony.
Officers with the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office entered Smith’s home with his permission in early October, which led to his arrest.
Other indictments handed down by the Grand Jury in the July 2009 term are listed below:
David A. Payne, 28, was indicted for Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, Assault and Promotion of Methamphetamine.
Sonnie Boone Hall, 26, was indicted for Burglary of a Vehicle, Theft of Property Under $500, Criminal Impersonation and Theft of Property Under $1,000.
Walter Shawn Patterson, 28, was indicted for Burglary and Theft Over $1,000.
Bill Jesse Miracle, 22, was indicted for Burglary and Theft Over $1,000.
Dennis M. Harvey, 28, was indicted for Forgery, Passing Worthless Checks and Theft of Property Under $500.
Emma Gail Massengill, 49, was indicted for Theft Under $1,000, Theft Under $500 Eight Counts, Forgery Eight Counts, Passing Worthless Checks.
Adam M. Douglas, 23, was indicted for Burglary and Theft Over $1,000.
