The October 27 finale at Springdale Elementary featured the Owls boys team playing the Hancock Indians. This game ended up a close one just like the earlier girls game but the Owls were able to get the four-point win at 28-24.

Hancock was the aggressor early during the first period of this game as they pulled away to a 8-4 lead.

Springdale awoke during the second period and placed their 12th point on the scoreboard and were playing better basketball but the Indians scored six and led at the half 14-12.

The Owls had their best period when they came out of the locker room and dropped in ten points. The Owls only allowed the Indians three points during the third and suddenly the visitors were behind 22-17 after three periods.

The Owls were outscored 7-6 during the final period but they ended up with a four point victory at 28-24.

Brennan Fugate led the Owls with 15 points. Three Owls dropped in two points each including Gabe Keck, Asher Shelton and Ethan Cupp. The final point was provided by Eli Poore.

Leading the Indians in scoring was Chandler Ferguson with 12 points.
