Vyve Broadband Salutes Claiborne Running Back For Outstanding Play

Shawnee, OK (November 2, 2016) — Claiborne senior running back Jacob Butler was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Bulldogs 57-28 loss to Pigeon Forge Friday night.

The consummate team player, Butler finished off his season, and career in style in the loss to the Tigers. He had 227 yards on 14 carries and scored on runs of 20, 48, and 80 yards, the last his final as a prepster he finished off with a front flip over the goal line. Butler finished the year with 1,049 yards rushing.

The Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week is presented to the player who most exemplifies competition, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship for his high school team each Friday night.

For week nine, that player is Claiborne’s Jacob Butler.

“We are proud to serve our communities, and proud of the communities we serve,” said Diane Quennoz, Vyve SVP, Marketing and Customer Experience. “And we are proud of this week’s Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week, Jacob Butler for his play on the field, and for representing Claiborne, and the Bulldogs this week.”
