The Claiborne High School Bulldogs baseball team held its Blue vs. White baseball game March 9. The teams were broken up evenly by Bulldogs’ head coach Stephen Foster and it showed in the end by the game finishing in a tie.

The Blue team got out of a major jam during the opening inning when the bases were loaded primarily by base-on balls. The defense held the White team scoreless despite the desperate looking situation.

The Blue team scored first and led 5-0 and looked liked they were going on to win the game but the White team stormed back and by the end of the game had the score tied at seven when the contest had concluded.

It was a great opportunity for Foster to get his team game experience all the way from the National Anthem up to the post-game handshakes. Claiborne baseball will begin their season at home March 13 against Pineville.
