The 2015 Cumberland Gap basketball individual camp was held recently with players representing fourth through eighth grades.

Coach Ernie Clawson, coach Brandon Clawson and coach Kent Hatmaker said they are thankful for the various coaches and high school players who helped out during the week. There were 68 campers who had the opportunity to work on various basketball related skills to enhance their individual overall performance.

During the course of the week, the campers worked on individual offensive and defensive drills as well as individual competitions such as free throw, 3-point shots, layup, and hot shot contests. Much was learned by a large group of campers which is essential for keeping the local basketball programs successful.

“We appreciate all the volunteers, participants and a very special thanks goes to All Star Trophy for providing trophies and T-shirts to each camper,” said the coaches.
