Once again the East Tennessee Region Sports Car Clubs of America came to Tazewell for another rally cross event. The July 16 event was the third in a continuing series of events in which at least three more dates are being considered.

The drivers came from as far as Cookeville in the state of Tennessee to drive, as well as from North Carolina to participate.

The course was one that the drivers enjoyed and took to immediately but a section going uphill created a slow portion that no vehicle handled greatly. The downhill sections were fast and the variations in slope made the track extremely enjoyable.

A dozen or so vehicles and drivers participated with the fastest time of the day, 58 seconds belonging to Robert Squailia in his Subaru Legacy.

The event was held at Frazier Motorsports Park in Tazewell under the guidance of Wes Frazier, and Matt Earl served as organizer of the event and helped to lay out the course. Concessions for all the drivers were donated by Matt Earl and Jessi Earl on behalf of Earl Heating and Air.
