Two local drivers grabbed checkers August 13 and Jason Trammell won his 100th feature. Trammell reached a milestone when he won in the Limited Late Model feature. Trammell, along with his father Jack and his late grandfather Charles Trammell, are synonymous with Tazewell Speedway and its history.
Anthony Burchett put his hands on the checkered flag during the Sportsman feature while another local driver Austin Neely won his second race of the season in the Super Stock class.
Other winners during the weekly racing program were Jody Puckett in the Open Wheel Modified feature and Josh Chesney grabbed checkers in the Classics. Rounding out the list of winners was Jamie James in the Four Cylinder feature.
