Brittany Force, daughter of National Hot Rod Association legend and 16-time champion John Force, made history Nov. 12 when she wrapped up the top fuel dragster title with a finals win over Shawn Langdon.
Force became only the second woman in the history of the NHRA to ever win the NHRA Top Fuel Championship. The last one was 35 years ago and belonged to the legendary Shirley Muldowney. Muldowney won three titles.
Force is only 31 years old, will likely be racing for many years and might just put a string of championships together to catch or even pass the great Muldowney. John Force Racing also won the NHRA Funny Car Championship this season with driver Robert Height.
