After winning both the regular season and post-season district championships, the Panthers began their pursuit of a state title, May 14. The first step was to defeat the Warriors of Bledsoe County in regional play at home. After a 6-0 shutout of the Warriors, the Panthers learned they will face Oneida, May 16. The Indians were the team that took the Panthers to the limit in an epic match last week for the tournament championship. With the win over the Warriors, the Panthers are now 15-0. Here are some photos from the game, please enjoy and look for more on the website and in an upcoming print edition soon.
