Photo gallery: Panthers win Regional Championship

Two highly competitive teams met on the pitch at Cumberland Gap, May 16 for the Class A, Division 1 Regional Championship. Cumberland Gap and Oneida also battled days earlier in an instant classic for the district title and this match was almost a mirror image of that contest. Cumberland Gap got the game winning goal during the second overtime period off the foot of Jayson Upton. The match was intense but afterwards great sportsmanship and admiration was shown by both teams. The Panthers remain undefeated on the season and will host a sub-state game, May 19.
