Two free throws by Neal Bunch lifted the Cumberland Gap Panthers to a 57-56 overtime win over West Greene in the first round of the Region 1 Tournament on Saturday.

The Buffaloes had taken a one-point lead on a basket by Tytus Shelton with under five second to play. Bunch took the inbounds pass and drove coast-to-coast drawing a foul in the lane to set up his winning free throws.

Bunch led the Panthers with 20 points in the game while Kolton Goins and Gabe Daniels added ten each, Keaton Clawson nine and Brady Harris eight.

Up next for the Panthers (10-20) is match-up against the top seed from District 1, Unicoi County, in the Regional Semifinals at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Gatlinburg-Pittman High School.
