Gearldean Cupp, age 73, of New Tazewell TN was born on June 11, 1951 and passed away on April 26, 2025.
Gearldean was saved at an early age and was a member of Lily Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She loved her church family and looked forward to talking to them every week. In her spare time Gearldean also loved to talk with her friends on the phone.
She was preceded in death by her parents Doyle and Eula Gray Cupp, sisters Wilma Fisher and Linda Sue Cupp, and brother Roger Cupp.
Gearldean is survived by her sisters Sybil Covington, Rowena Collins, and Darlene (Arlen) King. Nephews Scott (Angela) Buchanan, Tony Fisher, and David King. Great niece Mary Kate Buchanan and Ashley Buchanan. Great great niece Bella Nicole Deaver.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday April 29, 2025 from 5 until 7 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday April 30, 2025 at 2 PM in the Fairview Cemetery.
